This feature validates the show’s ‘arrival’ to mainstream media. We don’t recall a SYTYCD article from celeb magazines before or maybe we haven’t been paying attention much.

Alex Wong was going to be a finalist on Season 5 but because of a contract with the Miami Ballet, he couldn’t continue… Watch his first solo performance on SYTYCD 5 here.

Alex Wong is a former principal soloist with the Miami City Ballet. He was awarded his position with the ballet at age 17 after winning the prestigious “Prix de Lausanne” competition. Wong also sings and plays the piano.
