17 Reasons Bruce Wayne Is A Straight Up Boss

Happy birthday, definitely-not-Batman!

1. The life of a sad billionaire orphan isn’t easy, but Bruce Wayne handles it with impeccable style.

FOX / Via cinemablend.com

2. Remember that time he handled the tragic death of his parents like a man? I do.

3. And when some little punk tried to get in his face about being an orphan or whatever, Bruce had absolutely none of it.

FOX / Via grantland.com

4. He cracked that sucker’s face open with his father’s watch because Bruce Wayne doesn’t have ~time~ for bullies.

And Alfred let him do it. Never forget that.

5. While other kids his age are collecting Pokémon cards, Bruce collects evidence of corruption in the city he calls home.

6. (He also often falls asleep on the evidence of corruption in the city he calls home but that’s OK Bruce, it beats doing homework.)

7. But seriously, Bruce Wayne is a genius boy detective and every single cop in Gotham wishes they had his skills.

Even these two. Especially these two.

8. Bruce Wayne once fell down a hill and probably sprained his ankle. Do you think that stopped him?

FOX / Via buzzfeed.com

9. IT DIDN’T. He army-crawled right back up that hill and arrived in time to drink tea and watch the sunrise.

FOX / Via buzzfeed.com

10. The young ladies of Gotham have also noticed that Bruce is a total BAMF.

11. Selina Kyle might even like him, and she doesn’t like anyone.

FOX / Via buzzfeed.com

12. Bruce is the de facto head of a multibillion dollar company. In case you didn’t know.

13. His Board of Directors thinks he’s just a little boy but that is the last mistake any of them will EVER MAKE.

14. Because Bruce Wayne isn’t even close to messing around when it comes to his parents’ legacy.

15. That’s just the kind of guy Bruce is! Brave, stalwart, true, and also a total badass-in-the-making.

16. So until everything falls to shit and he decides to dress up like a bat and wreck criminals in his spare time, Gotham’s going to have to answer to Bruce Wayne.

DC Comics / Via moviepilot.com

17. It’s Bruce’s world and we’re all just living in it.

FOX / Via giphy.com

As it turns out, today is both the birthdays of Bruce Wayne the character AND David Mazouz, the actor who plays Bruce Wayne on Gotham. How’s that for a coincidence?

Happy Birthday to both!

America’s Favorite Dancer, Season 5 of SYTYCD! Watch the Finale results here… According to Fox, Jeanine “received the most votes out of the record-breaking 21.6 million votes cast. Additionally, she danced off with the cash prize of $250,000, the title of America’s Favorite Dancer and a cover feature in the November issue of Dance Spirit Magazine.” in the video below from TV Guide: Jeanine talks about what went through her mind on stage before it was announced she was crowned America’s favorite dancer.

Jeanine Mason

Nickname: J9, Nin, Mason, Sasquatch, Spaz

Birthday: January 14, 1991

Specialty: Contemporary

Hometown: Miami, Fla.

Currently Resides: Pinecrest, Fla.

Age: 18

School: “I just graduated high school and plan on attending the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA)…Go Bruins!”

Other talents/hobbies do you have: “I love acting and plan on pursuing it professionally. I sing as well, but spend most of my downtime eating pizza.”

Favorite professional dancer: “My favorite dancer is my sister Alexis Mason. She’s absolutely beautiful and fierce, but my favorite professional dancer is Ricky Ruiz, who is amazing.”

Choreographers would like to work with: “I would feel honored to work with any of them, but because I’m contemporary I am especially excited for Mia and Sonya.”

“Winning would mean having the confidence never to succumb to any obstacle. I came so close to missing out on the most incredible experience of my life because I didn’t believe in myself. It would be more than a personal victory. My winning would be a resounding victory for the underdogs and those who helped by encouraging them to dream and reach for what seems unattainable.”

Dancer Profile:

Have a backup plan: “School is important. I start at UCLA in the fall, as a freshman. I mean, if the show goes really well for me and I have to push it back a little bit, that’s totally fine, as long as I eventually go back to school. I think it’s so important for dancers to be educated, because our career is our body and our appearance, so at one point or another [we’re going to need other options].” by Korbi Ghosh, Zap2it.com

A recent graduate of the Ransom Everglades School, Mason plans to attend the University of California, Los Angeles in the fall. She began her dance training in Ballet and Lyrical and then went on to study Jazz, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Modern and Contemporary. (FOX)
