Who’s up for a few words of who has it “easy” and who doesn’t from a Hollywood actress who is married to a billionaire and seconded by a Guardian opinion writer?
Salma Hayek is right: compared with women, men are lazy and entitled | Julie Bindel https://t.co/O8kH0PMr10

Generalizations? You got ’em:
Men do a lot less, she told Net-a-Porters magazine, The Edit, they are less demanding on themselves and their standards are lower, yet they feel entitled to ask for a raise or a promotion.
Also:
(Women) are a lot more demanding of ourselves than men are. Its a horrible sensation were not enough at work, were not enough for the guy whos cheating on us, were not enough for our children who always want more of us, no matter what we give, the star said.
Hayek (not to mention the author of the Guardian op-ed quoting her) heard about it from women who, suffice to say, do not share her point of view:
I was told sexist stereotypes create a hostile work environment and it's violence to point out differences between men and women. https://t.co/kPOVJ2wLKr

The Guardian will be firing the horrible person who wrote this bigoted article perpetuating gender stereotypes, right? And blacklist her? https://t.co/1zrGuGUS52

I would LOVE to have Salma Hayek do some of the jobs my guy friends do & then look me straight in the eye & tell me they are lazy & entitled

Salma Hayek & y'all are full of it. Men consistently work harder, more dangerous jobs. Would love to see her spend a week roofing.

Look, there are some sorry men in the world. They are in the minority. Most men, while not perfect, give their all to provide & protect.
— Colonel Potter (@laurakfillault) August 11, 2017
Let's start celebrating real men. Men who work hard to provide, take time to help others, protect their loved ones & are loyal friends.

The day that women start stepping up and working all the dangerous jobs that men do, then we can talk about true "equality". https://t.co/2a6jw2VrUc
